Hey honeys!


I loved having you all over for bunko last night! I hope you enjoyed the shrimp wraps, fajitas, cookies & wine. Thank goodness Dax and Wade came to our rescue with more wine. :) Thank you all for your kind words about the babies too! It is so wonderful to have such awesome friends to share this exciting time with. Congrats to Merritt for the victory! I can't wait to see all of you again!

P.S. I'm sure this was a bunko Kelly will never forget. lol

Shelly's Bunko 6/24/10

Due to some scheduling conflicts- Bunko at Shelly's was pushed back a week. But even though a smaller crowd attended- dont' you worry- they had plenty o' fun for all of us!

I am still waiting for Shelly's recap of the night- and as soon as I get it- I will post it here! See you girls next month!

May Bunko 5/20/10

What a fun night! I had a blast- a special thank you to the girls who came over early and helped me get everything ready- I really appreciated it. I know that Kash enjoyed getting to meet all the ladies- and I know Diesel loooooooves it when you girls come over and give him some lovin' - Looks like we are all good to go and ready for our next year of Bunko- I just can't wait.

So we need a bunko group name- leave ideas in the comments section- and we can all brainstorm together- Some ideas of what we came up with the other night- what about any of these?
-Wine a little- Roll a lot
-Rowdy Rolling Winos
-Drinking Dice Divas
-Austin Bunko Babes
-Diesel Lovers (hahaha!)

Ok- so that should get you all off to a good start!

I thought the food turned out pretty yummy- Here are some of the recipes that were made.
Sausage Cups, Fiesta Pinwheels,(on these I omitted the olives and added 1/2 a can of drained corn and 1/2 a can of drained black beans) Easy Tres Leches,( on this- I make it even easier with a boxed yellow cake mix, and then just regular whip cream for the topping) and  Cilantro Pesto Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes.

The pimento cheese sandwiches, guacamole, stuffed cucumbers, shrimp cocktail salsa and Mexican Martinis are all "homemade" or borrowed recipes- that I will be glad to share if anyone would like to know them.

Thanks girls- had a blast! Can't wait to see you all at Shelly's house next month. (June 17th, 2010)
